Hello, I am Cátia
I've always been fascinated by the stories we carry within us, and that curiosity led me to become a psychologist. I am passionate about the human mind and the unique narratives and experiences that shape our lives.
In Portuguese or in English, my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your feelings, share your story, and discover your path to well-being. My approach is warm, flexible, and tailored to each individual. I draw from Cognitivo-Behavioral (CBT) and 3rd wave cognitive behavioral therapy.
More about me
As a Portuguese Psychologist living in the Netherlands, I bring a multicultural perspective to my practice, dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of the expat community. I understand the unique challenges expats face—such as cultural adjustment, isolation, and navigating new social landscapes. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of supporting adults, including those navigating the complexities of fast-paced corporate environments that often lead to workplace stress and burnout. Complementary, I have experience working across clinical and social fields, organizational psychology, scientific research, and training/facilitation in the corporate world.
